Chateau Pato Vintage Port 2011 (500ml)
$40.002011 was a great vintage for Hunter Valley reds, Louise and I still have plenty of both colours in our cellar. We have also had this wine many times of the years and it has stayed remarkably youthful and vigorous, never loosing it’s luxuriant fruit and etched curves. Shiraz fruit to the fore, all blackcurrant, […]

Eisenstone Greenock Shiraz 2021
$85.00Deep, bright red-purple colour; the bouquet likewise bright and fresh, initially with a high-note of freshly-sawn oak, which dissipated somewhat with time in the glass. The palate is bright, intense and elegantly weighted, just making the full-bodied weight category. Savaterre Frere Cadet Chardonnay 2024
$80.00According to Keppell Smith, this chardonnay is from a neighbour’s vineyard, and if I had to guess, I would think it’s the wonderful Indigo vineyard. Bondar Rayner Vineyard Grenache 2025
$40.00A warm and dry season, with halved crops, so some younger vine material joined the 1970-planted vines. Whatever the challenges, the result is in the black.
