A single-vineyard wine planted with MV6 and Abel clones in the late ’90s; 25% whole bunches. A bright, medium crimson. Whereas the ’24 was quite restrained, this is beautifully fragrant from the get-go, with its bouquet of red and black fruits, bramble and lifted florals. The palate is gently mouth-filling with silky tannins that make it a pleasure to drink now but will also ensure it continues to become more complex over the next five to seven years. 97 Points – Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion
