Domaine Tempier Bandol La Migoua 2022
$190.00The La Migoua area is renowned for its geological features and is often studied for its complex sediment patterns. The outcrops of rocks found in this area date back much further than those in the rest of the Bandol winegrowing area. Savage Follow the Line Cinsault 2023
$65.00Follow The Line is a deceptively forward Cinsault that’s good to drink on release, but ages remarkably well too. Alluringly ethereal and perfumed, it has what Duncan Savage terms “the purity of 2023”, layers of goji berry, plum and pomegranate and more tannic presence than you appreciate at first. Very refined. 96 points – Tim […]

Sylvie Esmonin Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2022
$280.00‘Here the wood is more apparent with a hint of menthol though neither are so much to impinge on the attractiveness of the ripe black cherry, smoked game and overtly floral-scented nose. The rich, generous and more concentrated medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the serious, youthfully austere and built-to-age finale. This […]

Sylvie Esmonin Gevrey Chambertin 2022
$240.00“A more deeply pitched nose reflects aromas of humus-inflected poached plum, cassis and violet that display hints of earth and leather. The supple and succulent yet well-detailed medium weight flavors possess a lovely mouthfeel before concluding in a youthfully austere finish where a touch of wood arises. This is an excellent Gevrey villages and worth […]

Fonseca Vintage Port 2017
$220.00The 2017 Vintage Port, not quite bottled when seen but the final blend, is a field blend (with typical grapes like Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca) aged for approximately 20 months in used French oak. It comes in with 98 grams of residual sugar, a little drier on paper […]

Fonseca Vintage Port 2016
$220.00On this second look, this Fonseca is still remarkably expressive, lifted and gloriously fresh, even with that slight closing. It has reasonable mid-palate concentration but even better intensity of flavor. Despite that intensity of flavor, it is not quite as sexy as it is in some years, at least not yet, as the tannins are […]

Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs NV Brut

Vincent Dancer Pommard 1er Cru Les Pezerolles 2022
