A tiny 0.66ha parcel planted in 1968 Southeast-facing, on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, soils and bedrock of granite with blue rocks. 25% whole bunch fermentation in concrete then transferred to 350-liter barrels and foudre for up to 12 months.
‘From the steep blue stone and granite slopes of Mount Brouilly comes the 2023 Côte de Brouilly. This wine reveals tangy flavors of cherry, blueberry and lilac contrasting harmoniously with its underlying firm, structured core of defined, youthful tannins. The medium to full-bodied wine digs deeper, revealing invigorating flavors of graphite and black pepper that enhance its tension, suggesting it would benefit from some additional time to relax.
