“From vines planted in 2019, 2020 and 2021 with high-quality selections of Chardonnay, Dancer’s 2023 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc delivers aromas of pear, white flowers and fresh mint, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive palate with good texture and cut, concluding with a gently aromatic finish.” 90 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
The Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune red and white come from the domaine’s young agroforestry project in Nantoux. Perched at 400 metres above Pommard, Nantoux is a strikingly pretty village known for its pink limestone quarries and hiking trails between vineyards, woods and meadows. The Dancers have planted two hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and interspersed all kinds of local trees on a limestone plateau. Although not the sole reason for investing in the area, it was hoped these vines would alleviate some of the pressure brought on by the domaine’s low yields in recent harvests. The mass-selection cuttings were developed with the help of Lilian Bérillon, the celebrated nurseryman who works with so many great growers. Already delivering quality, it’s clear that the wines from this site will be fascinating to follow over the years ahead.

Three 1er Crus combined: Combes (0.33 ha), Perrières (0.44 ha) and Les Creots (0.52ha) – made first time in 2016 due to the frost, ‘the name is from my maternal grandmother who died about the same time as the frost in 2016. We continue…’ ‘This cuvee has been a blend of Perrières, Combes, Créots and […]
Add to cart Producer: Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey2023 is a great vintage across Tasmania covering all varietals. Sourced from vines planted in 1987, the juice is whole bunch pressed into French oak, 10% new, for 9 months. Quite a contemporary style with tangy grapefruit, citrus, white flowers, cream and subtle oak. Lively, and zesty, with unctuous fruit, reductive notes, oak and zingy […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankI don’t normally like fizzes aged for long periods on lees but this, disgorged after five years, seems to have hit a sweet spot. Still very primary and super intense with pastry notes, butter, apple, almond cream, lavender, honey, grapefruit, lemon, lime, white peach and cinnamon. Fantastic intensity with great vibrancy, the acidity so lively […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankA tiny 0.41 ha strip of vines located at the bottom of Grand Cru Les Clos. More apparent wood is present on the otherwise similar nose. There is however more richness and volume to the slightly bigger-bodied and more concentrated flavors that also brim with sappy dry extract while exhibiting outstanding length on the powerful […]
