A blend of Narvaux in purchased grapes, Luchets in young vines which they manage, and Malpoiriers, Fresh pale lemon. The bouquet is very stylish, the refined side of Meursault, but also promising the body one would expect. Surprisingly firm acidity, citrus in style, this wine will benefit from longer elevage. Drink from 2027-2032. (89-92) Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2023.
From vines planted 1970’s located quite high on the slope on the Puligny side of Meursault. In 2019 this comes from 3 lieu-dits; Narvaux, Grands Charrons and Les Vireuils.

Pale yellow in colour with a green hue, with aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, grilled cashew and toast – this is classic Yarra Valley Chardonnay! The palate shows delicious stone fruit flavours with texture and fullness. It’s all underpinned with a laser sharp pink grapefruit acid line, delivering an overall delicate, long and flavoursome […]

Unusually for a Petit Chablis, which generally comes from the lower-lying sites on Portlandian limestone, the lion’s share of this cuvée is drawn from a parcel of Kimmeridgian-based soil. Yet it’s not necessarily the type of limestone but more the location that makes the difference. The small Defaix parcel is well situated on the […]
Add to cart Producer: Bernard DefaixDiam. Not all Petit Chablis is created equal! Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
Add to cart Producer: Moreau-NaudetFrom ten small parcels of 20-60 year old vines. Les Tremblot, (“more Puligny in character, as the soil is argileous,” says Jean-Louis); Les Meix, Les Levrons (more rounded wine for there are more stones and gravel here and it is not so heavy), Corvée des Vignes and Les Reuchaux. These small vineyard holdings are all […]
