A blend of Narvaux in purchased grapes, Luchets in young vines which they manage, and Malpoiriers, Fresh pale lemon. The bouquet is very stylish, the refined side of Meursault, but also promising the body one would expect. Surprisingly firm acidity, citrus in style, this wine will benefit from longer elevage. Drink from 2027-2032. (89-92) Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2023.
From vines planted 1970’s located quite high on the slope on the Puligny side of Meursault. In 2019 this comes from 3 lieu-dits; Narvaux, Grands Charrons and Les Vireuils.

“A blend of fruit from the Moorabool Valley, Barrabool Hills and Bellarine Peninsulas in Geelong. The boys at Mulline have nailed this new and well-priced addition to the range. Gently saline, with aromas of perfectly ripened white peaches. The palate is simultaneously fleshy, structured and long. A wine to buy by the case and enjoy […]
Add to cartI don’t normally like fizzes aged for long periods on lees but this, disgorged after five years, seems to have hit a sweet spot. Still very primary and super intense with pastry notes, butter, apple, almond cream, lavender, honey, grapefruit, lemon, lime, white peach and cinnamon. Fantastic intensity with great vibrancy, the acidity so lively […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankA great vintage for this wine and a classic, contemporary expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Expressive and packed with energy. White peach, jasmine, nectarine, lemon zest and grapefruit. Very fresh style, but softer and not as high pitched as the single vineyards. Terrific value. Waters Wine Co An even split of upper and lower […]
Add to cart Producer: Giant StepsScrewcap. Unusually for a Petit Chablis, which generally comes from the lower-lying sites on Portlandian limestone, the lion’s share of this cuvée is drawn from a parcel of Kimmeridgian-based soil. Yet it’s not necessarily the type of limestone but more the location that makes the difference. The small Defaix parcel is well situated on the […]
