Christophe et Fils Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu 2024

A beautifully ample Mont de Milieu from south-facing vines planted in 1990 and rooted in limestone. Highly aromatic, with fresh lemon, lemongrass, seaweed, gardenia, grapefruit and almond paste. The palate has terrific energy and vibrancy, with the limestone shining through in oyster-shell minerality and a subtle saline edge.

Deep, rich and focused yet remarkably airy, layered with white and yellow peach, cumquat, lime preserve, tangerine and fresh herbs. A gently creamy texture softens the structure, while the long, beautifully balanced finish carries all the elements effortlessly. Gorgeous now, but with the depth and balance to age gracefully for many years.
