As I write this, I’ve just returned from judging at the 2025 Tasmanian Wine Show, where this particular wine put in a stellar showing at the pointy end of the trophy judging. Gee it’s lovely. There’s not a hair out of place. Beautifully pure red berry and raspberry fruits with great carry of aroma and flavour, spice, some distant undergrowth tones, some cured meats, everything in balance and true with a sapid, saline cadence and fine, powdery tannins. It is just a pleasure to drink. 96 Points – Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion

“A four-vineyard, six-clone blend; 20% wholes bunches, 15% new oak. A bright crimson red. A lifted bouquet redolent of summer red fruits, poached rhubarb, rose bush and white pepper. The energetic palate is light to medium bodied with the wine’s fine-grained tannins and bright acidity making for a delicious and refreshing mouthful. Good, nay, great […]
Add to cartOne of the most stunningly aromatic pinots we’ve tried in a very long time. Drawing you in with star anise, sweet cherry, blackberry, cola, lavender wood, aniseed, sweet raspberry and cassis. Round and open, the aromatics quiet different to what’s found on the palate. Cured meats, mushroom, fresh compost, smoke and baking spices. Savoury tertiary […]

Silky, sappy, supple and mineral, very gentle mouthfeel, but totally immersing the palate in flavour. Beautifully toned wine, the fruit so fresh and pure. But it’s the lightness I love, the gentleness and ballerina […]

A bright crimson red. After a few good few swirls, aromas of ripe raspberries, black cherries, wild herbs and some crushed violets soon emerge. The palate, though, doesn’t need much coaxing, and this silken, sappy wine has excellent depth and persistence. Will be even better six to 12 months from now. 96 points – Philip […]
