“The 2021er Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese is really restrained and almost non-saying at this early stage, but already hints at the complexity to come as it reveals after a few minutes very delicate notes of whipped almond cream, lily flowers, vineyard peach, minty herbs, smoke, candied grapefruit, and quite some fine spices. The wine proves creamy yet intense and dynamic on the palate. It proves very focused and already hugely long. This will need quite some time to reveal all its facets, but the potential is immense. 2034-2056” 95 points, Jean Fisch and David Rayer, Mosel Fine Wines
“Smoke, lime zest, the ripest Mirabelle, and a highlight of chervil play on the nose of the 2021 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese. More air brings wonderfully ripe notions of lemon zest, not quite candied but delightfully ripe. The palate is rounded, concentrated, profound and full of golden yet citrus-edged fruit. Slightly richer than the other Spätlesen but beautifully long with alluring ripe lemon and lime freshness. Weightless substance. Wonderful.” 95 points, Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous

The Spreitzer Oestrich Lenchen Riesling Spätlese ‘303’ was first produced in the year 2000 and honours the Spreitzer brothers Grandfather who harvested his legendary Trockenbeerenauslese from the same vineyard in 1920 – which garnered a record sugar level of 303 degrees Oechsle. Coming exclusively from the Eisenberg this is rich with red apples and sweet acacia […]
Add to cartThe 2022er Krettnacher Euchariusberg Riesling Spätlese Klaus (the reference to this internal cask name is provided in small print on the label after the AP number) comes from fruit harvested on 60-year-old vines in the prime Gross Schock sector of the vineyard and was fermented down to sweet levels of residual sugar. Still very reductive […]
Add to cart Producer: Hofgut FalkensteinThe RS21 Riesling from Castle Rock is a medium dry Riesling which has wonderful balance between natural acidity and the residual sugar left in the wine. Feijoa and lime evident on the palate, backed by some floral notes. The sugar gives a lovely richness to the mid palate. The Riesling acid structure is in excellent […]
Add to cart“An unctuous Polish Hill River-born riesling from the Jaeschke family vineyard that sports 32 g/L of RS in an Aussie Kabinett style. Super pale with a green flash and pure and expressive fruit tones of lime, grapefruit, custard apple, feijoa and pomelo with underlying hints of orange blossom, frangipani, riverstone and some vaguely earthy mycelial […]
