Three pack contains one bottle each of the following:
Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne Montrachet Vieilles Vignes 2021
From 4 very old vineyards 0.75 ha total all located on the northern side of Chassagne close to the Puligny border – deeper soils here too.
Includes Ancegnières this year. Clean pure lemon yellow. There is a nice touch of flesh suggested by the nose, though in fact the palate has a little refreshing lime note. However, there is a more classical white fruit across the palate. Less was lost here – just down 30%. (89-91) Jasper Morris M.W., Inside Burgundy, October 2022
Fabien Coche Meursault ‘Les Chevalieres’ 2021
The lieux-dit of Les Chevalieres is situated above the village of Meursault. Above is the lieux-dit of Les Luchets, which produces a higher toned, more tensile wine. I can’t help but think that this is ideally situated, in a sense, mid-slope, the perfect aspect in Burgundy. Impossibly complex, with notes of white flowers, lemon, lime, cashew and cream. It’s very full bodied, luxurious and silkily fine. Despite the weight and power, everything it seems, is so well appointed. There’s a softness to the palate that is almost caressing. This is wonderful Meursault.
Bachelet-Monnot Chassagne-Montrachet 2021
Pale lemon yellow. The bouquet is discreet, suggesting medium density of correctly ripe fruit. There is a little more body underneath, with quite complex aromatics, a touch of spice overlying a bed of white fruit. Citrus appears lightly at the very end. Looking good! Drink from 2024-2028.
89-91 points, Jasper Morris MW – Inside Burgundy
This fleshy and precise Chassagne is drawn from six well-sited parcels across the village: La Canière, Le Chêne, Les Benoîtes, Pot Bois, En Journoblot and Les Houillères. The parcels are below the 1er Crus except Pot Bois, which is one of Chassagne’s highest vineyards and lies above Paul Pillot’s Chassagne, Clos Saint-Jean. Les Houillères also deserves a callout, sitting, as it does, below Bâtard. The average age of the vines is 30 years. This is always an outstanding, stylish village-level wine.

A great vintage for this wine and a classic, contemporary expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Expressive and packed with energy. White peach, jasmine, nectarine, lemon zest and grapefruit. Very fresh style, but softer and not as high pitched as the single vineyards. Terrific value. Waters Wine Co An even split of upper and lower […]
Add to cart Producer: Giant Steps2023 is a great vintage across Tasmania covering all varietals. Sourced from vines planted in 1987, the juice is whole bunch pressed into French oak, 10% new, for 9 months. Quite a contemporary style with tangy grapefruit, citrus, white flowers, cream and subtle oak. Lively, and zesty, with unctuous fruit, reductive notes, oak and zingy […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankA tiny 0.41 ha strip of vines located at the bottom of Grand Cru Les Clos. More apparent wood is present on the otherwise similar nose. There is however more richness and volume to the slightly bigger-bodied and more concentrated flavors that also brim with sappy dry extract while exhibiting outstanding length on the powerful […]

Sourced from John and Josie D’Aloisio’s vineyard located high up on the hill above the township of Seville. The I10V1 clone Chardonnay was planted in 1991 on its own roots (non-grafted) and is grown on the stunningly rich red volcanic soils this subregion of the Yarra Valley is famous for. Bottled in early July this […]
