Latta Vino Jurassique Chardonnay 2020

Lack of rain, poor flowering and generally harsh conditions in the past few years have contributed to the lack of chardonnay grown at Eastern Peake. This wine is off two vineyards – Latta‘s at Coghills Creek and one at Tarrington.

Not fully oxidative such as other releases; it was too risky this time round. The wine does have undertones of the style, it’s the “Ouille” method. Whole bunch-pressed, barrel-fermented, full malo, no additions just minimal sulphur at racking and again at bottling.
