Whole-bunch pressed, fermented and matured in French hogsheads and puncheons (40% new); 75% mlf. An intense, rich bouquet of yellow pear, citrus peel, spice and oyster shell. It’s ripe and mouth-filling, to be sure, but also nicely delineated, with an even thread of acidity giving the wine structure and length through to its long finale. Lovely now, but history also tells us it will age well. 96+ Points – Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion

Preserved lemon, jasmine, brioche, green mango, lime, pineapple and apricot rise from the glass. Dense and almost full-bodied for Chablis, yet beautifully crystalline, with piercing focus, serious depth and an effortless flow. The palate layers yellow peach, grapefruit, lime, marjoram, tarragon, fresh hay and apricot, with a succulent, juicy texture that makes it immediately approachable […]

The 2023 Saint-Aubin Hommage à Marguerite 1er Cru, a blend of Combe, Perrières and Craillot, is delightful, fresh and saline with subtle notes of sea spray and white peaches. The palate is well balanced with a tangy opening, and lively peach nuances develop toward the finish. This is harmonious and quite irresistible already. Recommended. (91-93) […]

Picked in the first days of April, whole-bunch pressed and allowed to ferment wild in a combination of tank and old French oak puncheons. […]
