From a 0.4ha close-planted vineyard. Barrel fermented and matured in hogsheads (40% new), with 75% mlf. A touch sunnier than the Winery Block, offering aromas of white peach, Golden Delicious apple, frangipani and a subtle briny note. Even better on the palate, which is focused and very well structured, before finishing saline and long. Should age very well over the next four to six years. 96+ Points – Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion

I don’t normally like fizzes aged for long periods on lees but this, disgorged after five years, seems to have hit a sweet spot. Still very primary and super intense with pastry notes, butter, apple, almond cream, lavender, honey, grapefruit, lemon, lime, white peach and cinnamon. Fantastic intensity with great vibrancy, the acidity so lively […]

From a 12-row block of P58 clone planted in ’76. Matured in French hogsheads and puncheons (40% new); 70% mlf. A very bright green gold. Interestingly, this is the most restrained and subtle of Bannockburn’s ’25 chardonnays, and, no surprise, also the most complex. Aromas of perfectly ripened stone fruits, orange pith and lemongrass precede […]

A tiny 0.41 ha strip of vines located at the bottom of Grand Cru Les Clos. More apparent wood is present on the otherwise similar nose. There is however more richness and volume to the slightly bigger-bodied and more concentrated flavors that also brim with sappy dry extract while exhibiting outstanding length on the powerful […]

‘The Bourgogne vineyards are in Meursault Puligny, Chassagne and St-Aubin. Glowing pale lemon. Crisply attractive, not very reductive, no great weight on the palate, tingling acidity, a little citrus rinse, fair length. Drink from 2026-2028.’ (86-87) Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2025. From vines located in Meursault (40%), Puligny (15%), Chassagne (15%) and […]
