“Smoke and petrol nuances add breadth to the aromas of rosemary oil, pear and soil tones. There is impressive volume to the dense and seductively textured medium weight flavors thanks to the abundant amount of dry extract that imparts a sappy quality to the lingering, powerful and balanced finale. This is noticeably less refined, indeed it’s mildly rustic, but offers excellent quality for its level. Recommended. Drink2029+ OUTSTANDING – TOP VALUE” 89-92 points – Allen Meadows, burghound.com – June 2024
“An even lemon and lime colour. Energy on the nose, not yet so much detail. The palate delivers its usual resounding success, a mass of pure white fruit which builds in intensity to the back and finishes with the lightest of toasty notes which is complementary. Excellent length. Not only is this really good, there are 100 barrels of it! Drink from 2026-2032. FIVE STAR WINE” 91-94 points – Jasper Morris insideburgundy.com Nov 2023

Add to cart Producer: Pierre-Yves Colin-MoreyA great vintage for this wine and a classic, contemporary expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Expressive and packed with energy. White peach, jasmine, nectarine, lemon zest and grapefruit. Very fresh style, but softer and not as high pitched as the single vineyards. Terrific value. Waters Wine Co An even split of upper and lower […]
Add to cart Producer: Giant Steps2023 is a great vintage across Tasmania covering all varietals. Sourced from vines planted in 1987, the juice is whole bunch pressed into French oak, 10% new, for 9 months. Quite a contemporary style with tangy grapefruit, citrus, white flowers, cream and subtle oak. Lively, and zesty, with unctuous fruit, reductive notes, oak and zingy […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankScrewcap. Unusually for a Petit Chablis, which generally comes from the lower-lying sites on Portlandian limestone, the lion’s share of this cuvée is drawn from a parcel of Kimmeridgian-based soil. Yet it’s not necessarily the type of limestone but more the location that makes the difference. The small Defaix parcel is well situated on the […]
