Chateau Pato Hunter Valley DJP Shiraz 2016

Made in tiny quantities, the fruit for the DJP Shiraz is from vines planted by Chateau Pato in 1981. The vines are dry-grown to make them work a little harder – producing a pristine, low-yielding crop. Deep, dark purple in colour, the wine has an intense nose of black fruits and spice, which carries through to the palate. Drinking beautifully now, but a patient wait in the cellar will be rewarded with a beautiful, classic Hunter Shiraz.
