The By Farr Shiraz is amongst Australia’s best and most singular; a great site expression. Rich, concentrated, seamless and controlled. Extremely complex and with a flavour profile all it’s own. Smoked paprika, red capsicum, curry leaf and fenugreek counter the compote of red, black and hedge fruits. There is great tension between the sweet and the savoury, with wave after wave of luxuriousness and decadence. Fresh and intense, it’s depth belies a lightness of touch and long velvety tannins.
