A deep and brightly coloured crimson purple. Both to look at and smell, this is a concentrated and complex Wantirna pinot that’s going to need some time. Aromas of black cherry, damson plum and dried red rose petals lead onto the palate, which is densely packed, structured and very long. Have it with food now, for sure, but those who still have some five to ten years from now will be very well rewarded. 96+ Points, Philip Rich – Halliday Wine Companion

The vineyards include: En Motrot, situated between the church and Château de Gevrey-Chambertin, close to Clos Saint-Jacques; Au Vellé, […]

The altitude and cool air from the forest help moderate the climate here, resulting in slow ripening and flavour development, while […]

Classic Tasmanian pinot noir from a great year. Complex red summer fruits. Floral, roses and lavender, with sweet and savoury spice, compost, pine needles and smoke. Plenty of volume and shape, the fruit succulent and juicy – balanced by darker, savoury elements. So much textural flavour complexity, the wine a shape shifter in the glass. […]
