Bursting with aromas of cherries, plums and cassis mingled with sweet soil tones and petals, Dancer’s 2020 Pommard Les Perrières is medium to full-bodied, lively and charming, with a fleshy core of vibrant fruit and fine, chalky tannins. 89-91 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Driving south on the D974, Les Perrières sits under the famed Clos des Epeneaux and is the first Pommard vineyard on your right after you leave the commune of Beaune. The Dancers farm almost one hectare of vines here, planted in 2012. They work with very low yields to achieve the textural richness and seduction you’ll find here. It’s a darker, inkier wine than the Beaune (as you would expect), but it still offers lovely finesse and purity.

Everything was pressed after 14 days into tank, and then gravity-fed […]

Tense and pretty on the palate with incredible vibrancy and verve. Naturally structured. Long and really refined. So subtle, yet it lasts almost two minutes. […]
