The 2023 Morgon Côte du Py comes from several parcels of granite and schistous soils with many centurion vines. This has a wonderful, very complex bouquet with exquisite delineation: crushed stone filters through dark berry fruit alongside hints of ash and light stony scents. The sapid and vivacious palate has filigree tannins, a silver thread of acidity, and a touch of cracked black pepper towards the long finish. This is one of the best Morgon’s you can buy…but that’s old news. 94/100 – Neal Martin on March 2025 (vinous.com)

The gamay was grafted onto own rooted cabernet vines, which were planted in 1999. The soil is black cracking clay soil, with a mixture of submerged volcanic pebbles and boulders at one end, and a more friable and slightly more vigorous chocolate-coloured soil at the other. The first fruit was picked during the 2014 vintage. […]
Add to cart Producer: Farr RisingBouland’s Morgon Bellevue Cailloux 2019 is made exactly the same way as all of the Bouland wines: natural, whole-bunch ferment, concrete tank/foudre élevage and no fining. This is fascinating to compare directly with the Sable (sand) cuvée. Here, there’s more plum and blackcurrant depths, and also a smoky, hot-rocks kind of mineral profile. Long and strong, […]
Add to cart Producer: Daniel BoulandThe 2022 Morgon Cuvée Corcelette has a crisp and delineated bouquet brimming with energy. Lively red fruit seems to leap from the glass. The palate is beautifully built, svelte tannins matched with a silver bead of acidity, very harmonious with a lightly spiced and persistent finish. This has a bit of Liam-Gallagher-like swagger about it—nothing […]
Add to cart Producer: Jean FoillardFrom several districts, off old, dry-grown bush vines. The ferments are all nuanced, but all are wild, and there is always some whole bunch; maturation for eight months in old French oak. Pale in hue and pretty in fragrance, such is the vintage. Flavours skip through cranberry, wild raspberry, pomegranate and rose, with white pepper […]
