Still very youthful on the nose, this is crammed with ripe peach, plus more delicate notes of pineapple and mangosteen. It’s a minor miracle that this kind of concentration can be packed into such a sleek, medium-bodied palate. What an amazing mouthfeel this has thanks to the seamless integration of slatey acidity and ripeness. Very long finish with spot-on balance. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. 97 points, James Suckling
While tightly wound in youth and too nervous to express itself fully, there’s a core of sun-drenched peach and yellow cherry lusciousness that pulsates from within here. It’s still subtle on the nose, but the palate can’t hide the intensity of fruit and swirls of honey and hibiscus nectar waiting to unfurl. Delicate sweetness is balanced by a lifting spray of minerality and a spine of laser-edged acidity. Hold until 2030 at least; it’s a wine to enjoy over decades.96 points, Decanter

Riesling of the Year & White Wine of the Year – “Thanks to a cool season and biodynamic farming, Jeff Grosset proclaims 2024 as the most pristine fruit he has seen since he first planted in the Clare Valley in the early 1980s. By jove! Polish Hill 2024 is as desperately gorgeous as any of […]
Add to cart Producer: GrossetOne of the best LBV’s tasted in a long time. I often find them losing a little bit of freshness and bitter notes too apparent. Not a bit of it here, however! Oozing aromatics of blackcurrant, blackberry, mulberry, black cherry, prunes, dates, violets and mint. Luscious and full bodied, some clove and cinnamon, the spice […]
Add to cart Producer: Quinta Do NovalFrom a tiny 0.50ha plot of vines planted in 1998 with a south-east exposure located near the top of the hill of Grand cru’s. (from a .50 ha parcel of vines on the ‘sunny’ side that were replanted in 1998; vinified in stainless but with the élevage in older wood). This is also aromatically […]
Add to cart Producer: Christian Moreau“The 2021 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese is concentrated and fresh on the aromatic nose that is immediately present but also still reductive. Ripe stone fruit aromas intermingle with notes of crushed stones on a deep foundation of aromas from the soil and the fruit of old vines. On the palate, the 2021 is very fine but […]
