Intense aromatics of passionfruit, lime, blackcurrant, cherry, stone fruits, honey, mustard and savoury spice. Dense, concentrated, in fact, perhaps the deepest core of power that I have tasted in an Australian Riesling. Expansive palate, direct in flavour, precise scaffold, chalky texture and that width! The follow up vintage to Huon Hook’s Victorian Riesling of the year. A limited bottling of selected fruit from our oldest Riesling vines. Made from predominantly free run juice, it’s showing generous finger lime and mineral aromas, with a textural palate that resolves in a lengthy acid finish. Winemaker’s Notes
