Loaded with typical spiced pear aromatics and a delicate pink tinge. Texture is always at the heart of this delicious Pinot Gris from Hughes and Hughes. Pure fruit and ripe acidity round it out. Earthy, spicy and great fun to drink!
Made with fruit from vineyards in the North West and Tamar and Derwent Valleys, picked between 11.5 and 12.5 baume. Parcels were fermented on skins (25%), in seasoned barrels (25%) and in tank (50%) before being blended and matured in tank on lees. Bottled unfined and filtered.
