Fruit sourced from two vineyards, both planted in the ‘90s with classic Ordovician soils – a mixture of mudstone, shale, and granite. Handpicked, basket-pressed and fermented on lees. Fermented and aged in a combination of large-format oak (foudre) and barrique, some new. The structure and integrity of the fruit is intense. The vibrancy of the cool vintage evident.
