Three 1er Crus combined: Combes (0.33 ha), Perrières (0.44 ha) and Les Creots (0.52ha) – made first time in 2016 due to the frost, ‘the name is from my maternal grandmother who died about the same time as the frost in 2016. We continue…’
‘This cuvee has been a blend of Perrières, Combes, Créots and PItangerets since 2016, all pressed and vinified together. The blend effectively covers all the possible exposures of St-Aubin. The bouquet is rather unforthcoming, though there is an attractive weight of white fruit on the palate, with more generosity at the finish. Drink from 2026-2030. (89-91) Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2023.

The lieux-dit of Les Chevalieres is situated above the village of Meursault. Above is the lieux-dit of Les Luchets, which produces a higher toned, more tensile wine. I can’t help but think that this is ideally situated, in a sense, mid-slope, the perfect aspect in Burgundy. Impossibly complex, with notes of white flowers, lemon, lime, […]
Add to cart Producer: Fabien Coche“A blend of fruit from the Moorabool Valley, Barrabool Hills and Bellarine Peninsulas in Geelong. The boys at Mulline have nailed this new and well-priced addition to the range. Gently saline, with aromas of perfectly ripened white peaches. The palate is simultaneously fleshy, structured and long. A wine to buy by the case and enjoy […]
Add to cartI don’t normally like fizzes aged for long periods on lees but this, disgorged after five years, seems to have hit a sweet spot. Still very primary and super intense with pastry notes, butter, apple, almond cream, lavender, honey, grapefruit, lemon, lime, white peach and cinnamon. Fantastic intensity with great vibrancy, the acidity so lively […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankDiam. Not all Petit Chablis is created equal! Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
