Dawson James Chardonnay 2020

From the Far Horse Block of the Meadowbank vineyard, situated in the Derwent Valley, Southern Tasmania and planted in 2000. Awesome Chardonnay, and for lovers of the grape, whatever your stylistic preference, this one’s for you. Rich, it is full bodied, yet the wine’s so fresh and tensile with masses of tangy acidity. Yellow and white peach, gardenia, brioche, struck match, green apple, apple strudel and lime. The oak is of the highest quality and perfectly integrated. Compact and dense, a shimmering diamond of beauty, complexity and limitless power. The length is prodigious and will live for a couple of decades at least.
