The 2024 ChaLou Chardonnay is restrained yet powerful. Vibrant aromas of fresh ripe citrus, orchard fruits and delicate white florals. The palate is pithy with grapefruit and subtle spice. Softly textured with a drawing acidity. Winemaker’s Notes
Hand-picked at ~11.8baume and chilled overnight in the cool room. Whole bunch pressed for very gentle extraction. Wild fermented in a second fill French Barrique and left to mature of lees until blending for bottling. No filtration. No fining. Minimal sulphur and Vegan Friendly.
