Aromas of vanilla, spice, discreet wood, frangipani, lemon oil and apricot. Almost full bodied, luscious and concentrated. Very complex. Yellow peach, lime, apricot, spice and subtly peach skin texture. Full of extract, amplitude and very long. The best Bourgogne Blanc we’ve tasted for a long time. Waters Wine Co
Regarded by those in the know as one of the great Bourgogne-level whites, this comes from just over a single hectare spread across five parcels—all in Meursault, and all neighbouring village-level vineyards. These parcels are Sous la Velle, En l’Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and En la Monatine. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Volumes were reasonably close to normal this year and the wine itself is simply outstanding. Importer’s Notes
The 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay confirms its fine showing from barrel, wafting from the glass with aromas of white flowers, lemon oil, almond paste, crisp green apple and wet stones. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with excellent concentration and a long, penetrating finish. 89 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Outstanding. Top Value. Here too the nose is super-fresh though with a different aromatic profile of apple, pear and lemon rind. The energetic and well-detailed flavors possess a really lovely texture for a wine of this level, all wrapped in a lingering and saline-inflected finish. This is an excellent Bourgogne. 87-89 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

“The 2022 Meursault Village is ample and generous, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, clear honey, green apple and bread dough. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a rich core of fruit girdled by lively acids, it concludes with a saline finish.” 90-92 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate “The 2022 Meursault […]
Add to cart Producer: Henri GermainDiam. Not all Petit Chablis is created equal! Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
Add to cart Producer: Moreau-NaudetLight straw colour with a reserved lemon/grapefruit aroma, fresh and penetrating, the palate brisk and bright with vibrant acidity and intense grapefruit/lemon flavours that persist the full length of the very long palate. Superb vitality and balance. It promises to reward cellaring too. Tremendously concentrated and compact, with extreme drive and massive persistence, it positively […]
Add to cart Producer: Leeuwin EstateA tiny 0.41 ha strip of vines located at the bottom of Grand Cru Les Clos. More apparent wood is present on the otherwise similar nose. There is however more richness and volume to the slightly bigger-bodied and more concentrated flavors that also brim with sappy dry extract while exhibiting outstanding length on the powerful […]
