“Smoke and petrol nuances add breadth to the aromas of rosemary oil, pear and soil tones. There is impressive volume to the dense and seductively textured medium weight flavors thanks to the abundant amount of dry extract that imparts a sappy quality to the lingering, powerful and balanced finale. This is noticeably less refined, indeed it’s mildly rustic, but offers excellent quality for its level. Recommended. Drink2029+ OUTSTANDING – TOP VALUE” 89-92 points – Allen Meadows, burghound.com – June 2024
“An even lemon and lime colour. Energy on the nose, not yet so much detail. The palate delivers its usual resounding success, a mass of pure white fruit which builds in intensity to the back and finishes with the lightest of toasty notes which is complementary. Excellent length. Not only is this really good, there are 100 barrels of it! Drink from 2026-2032. FIVE STAR WINE” 91-94 points – Jasper Morris insideburgundy.com Nov 2023

From ten small parcels of 20-60 year old vines. Les Tremblot, (“more Puligny in character, as the soil is argileous,” says Jean-Louis); Les Meix, Les Levrons (more rounded wine for there are more stones and gravel here and it is not so heavy), Corvée des Vignes and Les Reuchaux. These small vineyard holdings are all […]

Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
Add to cart Producer: Moreau-NaudetFrom a tiny 0.50ha plot of vines planted in 1998 with a south-east exposure located near the top of the hill of Grand cru’s. (from a .50 ha parcel of vines on the ‘sunny’ side that were replanted in 1998; vinified in stainless but with the élevage in older wood). This is also aromatically […]
Add to cart Producer: Christian Moreau“Complete harmony, a certain amount of nuance, lifted finish thanks to acceptable acidity. Bottled July. Pale lemon colour, a little more flesh on the nose, pleasingly rounded, very stylish. Buy this without question. With time in the glass the Chablis minerality shows as well as the pleasing flesh.” 89 points, Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy […]
