Bellebonne-bis NV Blanc

A terrific new addition to the Bellebonne sparkling wine quiver, 100% chardonnay from the lovely Natalie Fryar. Pale in the glass with a vivid and energetic bead and mousse. Aromas of green apple, grapefruit and a suggestion of white peach with hints of crushed shells, lemon sorbet, sea spray, enoki mushrooms, white flowers and brioche. Delicate and precise with a brisk flow of pure fruit, daubs of crème fraîche, soft spice and stone and a crystalline mineral line driving the wine along. 94 points – Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion
