The grapes used to make this rosé come from selected parcels where the vines are on average 20 years old. The yields are low, which explains the intense concentration and distinct expression of each varietal in this wine. The presence of Mourvedre gives this wine its strong character, balance and complexity. An intense fruit and floral nose make this an attractive rosé.The palate is rounded and full with fruity aromas of peach and pomegranate, followed by delicate spice notes and a pleasant freshness created by acidic balance.
Famously known as ‘the greatest rose in the world’ thanks to Robert Parker, the Bandol Tempier Rosé offers a unique blend of complexity and freshness.

It has been featured by The WineFront and Halliday magazine as one of Australia’s leading rosé wines. The 2023 is no exception to its predecessors, made with intention as a serious and refreshing style.

I love that this isn’t trying to be Bandol or Provence, that it wears the Australian sun on its shoulders. Strawberry, raspberry, cherries and cream. Full flavoured and bright, packed with energy and zingy orange rind driving the finish. Absolutely lovely. Waters Wine Co
