There is a change in image in the 2021 Com Tu, a village red from La Figuera in Montsant, with a label that is similar to the one from the new rosé, a drawing of the village. They used a high percentage of full clusters, and it matured in an old 5,000-liter foudre for one year and then fine-tuned in concrete. It is super floral and perfumed, completely different from Clos Mogador, with a light extraction, a pale color, and contained ripeness and alcohol (14%), with the sapidity from the limestone soils and very fine chalky tannins. 13,000 bottles produced. They have planted more vines and purchased some older ones to increase the volume in the future. 94+ Points, Robert Parker – Wine Advocate

The palate offers vibrantly fleshy style with impressive concentration of raspberry and blueberry flavors. Fresh, with structure and drive. Drink over the next eight years. 94 points […]

A very different expression this year, 2023 being cool and wet; rounder, softer and juicier. Blackberry, cassis, plum, dark cherry and raspberry, with a savoury squeeze of fennel, bay leaf and dried flowers. Is there an evolution in style, or is it the vintage? I’m thinking the latter. The more gentle structure a product of […]
