Mid ruby in colour. Very attractively perfumed on the nose and agreeably fresh. Some roses as well as red fruit. This is not the most powerful Malconsorts you will ever taste, but there is a fine tensile strength which shows off the qualities of the vineyard very expressively. Properly persistent, a lovely wine for the medium term. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2025. (94-96), Jasper Morris M.W., Inside Burgundy, January 2026
From 0.74 ha of vines planted early 1970’s located close to Grand Cru La Tache, aged in 2/3rds new oak, 1/3rd 1 yo oak. A wine of rare breed and depth of Grand cru quality and dimension.

All the sites lie in volcanic loam […]

A single-vineyard wine planted with MV6 and Abel clones in the late ’90s; 25% whole bunches. A bright, medium crimson. Whereas the ’24 was quite restrained, this is beautifully fragrant from the get-go, with its bouquet of red and black fruits, bramble and lifted florals. The palate is gently mouth-filling with silky tannins that make […]

This is a beguiling and dreamy wine. Translucent, deep ruby/magenta with a harmonious bouquet of dark, jubey fruit, subtle florals, spicy rolling tobacco and wet stone. The nose certainly promises a lot and the palate delivers in spades. Smooth, soft, full and ripe – red and dark cherries mingle with chalky, ultra-fine tannins with enough […]

Aged in a combination of new and old French oak barriques and puncheons. Typical red and dark berry fruits are prominent, with floral and spice notes. Medium bodied, erring on the […]
