Simply red. Raspberry, strawberry, rhubarb, plum, cherry and vanilla pod aromas. Tense, linear and bright. Mouth watering texture and shape that is reminiscent of Burgundy from days of old; deep, focused, tight and expansive. Some English dampness, that reminds me of walking through cool, wet woods. Gamey almond meal and mushroom notes. Still a little reductive, smelling of an old firing mechanism, smoke and oil. Cool, poised and expansive, with a precision found nowhere else in the world.
