One of the best estate pinto noirs in Australia and ridiculous value for money. Medium to full bodied with aromas of blackberry, lavender, 5 spice, dark cherry, plum and cranberry. Sleek and voluminous, not a ‘light’ wine by any means. Sweet and tangy fruit, cake spice, oak spice, petrichor and a ferrous quality, unusual for the Mornington.
