Chantereves Bourgogne Rouge 2021

$105.00

This great-value red is drawn from two vineyards in roughly equal measure: Paris-l’Hôpital in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune on dark, sandy, granitic soil; and Puligny-Montrachet on loamy limestone. The vines in both sites are more than 60 years old on average. This wine captures the quintessential Chanterêves character of fruit purity, savoury nuance and lightness
of touch. The Puligny fruit brings red berry characters and density while Paris-l’Hôpital brings darker fruit aromas, complexity and length. The sum is one of the prettiest Bourgogne rouges going around.
