“The 2021 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese is concentrated and fresh on the aromatic nose that is immediately present but also still reductive. Ripe stone fruit aromas intermingle with notes of crushed stones on a deep foundation of aromas from the soil and the fruit of old vines. On the palate, the 2021 is very fine but also intense, savory, saline and lush, leading to a long, intense and highly digestible finish with crunchy and cleansing slate features. Again, this is a fabulous Auslese from Prüm’s iconic Sonnenuhr. 7% stated alcohol.” 97 points, Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate
“The 2021er Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese proves hugely refreshing as intense scents of mint, green herbs, and smoke first come through. With more airing, it shows almond cream, tangerine, lead pencil, and flint stone. The wine shows a lot more presence and ripeness as rich and almost exotic flavors of tangerine, candied pineapple, honeyed peach, and a hint of apricot. The finish is very precise and long, and the after-taste is creamy and more delicate. It proves still very much work in progress and has easily upside potential with time. 2031-2051” 94+ points, Jean Fisch and David Rayer, Mosel Fine Wines
“A surprisingly open nose defines the 2021 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese, revealing a herbal savor that is reminiscent of moss, chervil, and carrot top, but just a hint. The palate is a gorgeously concentrated stream of ripe citrus, combining the aromatic intensity and ripeness of Amalfi lemon, the brightness of lime and the sweetness of sugared orange flesh. So direct, so precise, sweet but utterly balanced. Clear as a bell.” 96 points, Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous

From the upper storeys ,and therefore cooler, of the Brauneberger Juffer. Fine and tense palate with gorgeous stone and citrus fruits, gardenia and bergamot. Very lively palate, and the fruit is juicy, the structure linear and precise. Great vintage? Pretty close! Coiled perfection. Waters Wine Co
Add to cart Producer: Fritz HaagFrom 0.51 ha of vines in 2 separate plots planted 1993 and 1965, one in the steepest stoniest part close to Blagny which contributes excellent acidity and structure, the other part is from lower down where the soil is richer and this part gives greater richness and depth to the wine. This shows wonderful intensity […]
Add to cart Producer: Jean-Louis ChavyStill very youthful on the nose, this is crammed with ripe peach, plus more delicate notes of pineapple and mangosteen. It’s a minor miracle that this kind of concentration can be packed into such a sleek, medium-bodied palate. What an amazing mouthfeel this has thanks to the seamless integration of slatey acidity and ripeness. Very […]
Add to cart Producer: JJ Prum‘Cordon Cut’ refers to the unusual practice of cutting the canes allowing the grapes to ‘raisin’ naturally on the vine, concentrating flavour and sugar levels. 2020 is another outstanding vintage for Mount Horrocks. The wine is a bright, pale white gold colour with concentrated lemon-lime and vanilla spice. The juicy fruit washes over a vibrant […]
