“The 2021er Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese offers a superbly complex and pure fresh nose of candied grapefruit, vineyard peach, verbena, almond cream, smoke, and a hint of cassis. The wine proves superbly honeyed and creamy on the palate, where riper elements of pineapple, honeyed peach, and apricot are wrapped in candied citrusy fruits. The wine is intense and still quite broad but the finish is already pure and hugely long. This is a splendid refined Auslese, which just needs time to develop all its facets. 2036-2061” 96 points, Jean Fisch and David Rayer, Mosel Fine Wines
“Crushed slate, slight smoke and hints of lime appear initially on the nose of the 2021 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Auslese, followed by a lovely herbal fresh chervil note. The palate is a veritable dance of lime and lemon, with brilliant, heightened citrus – beautifully serene, classic, straight and elegant. Wonderful citrus length. Absolute clarity. Wow.” 95 points, Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous
“The 2021 Graacher Himmelreich Auslese is very clear, pure and refined on the fascinating, flinty, finely concentrated and lemon-scented nose. Lush and savory on the palate, with crystalline acidity and great precision, this is a supple yet frisky as well as substantial and sustainable Auslese from the Himmelreich, and it develops a long, complex and saline finish. This is highly stimulating already, but the best is yet to come here. 7% stated alcohol.” 95 points, Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate

The 2020er Ellergrub, as it is referred to on the consumer label (the reference to Grosse Eule is left for the back label), has a restrained yet beautiful nose of minty herbs, thyme, yellow flowers, smoke, lozenge, spices, and blackberry. The wine proves slightly juicy and creamy on the mid-palate, yet there is quite some […]
Add to cart Producer: Weiser KunstlerLifted aromatics of blackcurrant, blackberry, tobacco, cherry, mint and sandalwood. A thoroughly classic Margaret River Cabernet, it’s seriousness a statement of intent. The tannins provide shape, structure tertiary flavours, very much defining the wine at this early stage. Firm and authoritative, the fruit pure, black and hedge. Oyster shell, soy and tobacco notes are prominent […]
Add to cart Producer: NocturneStill very youthful on the nose, this is crammed with ripe peach, plus more delicate notes of pineapple and mangosteen. It’s a minor miracle that this kind of concentration can be packed into such a sleek, medium-bodied palate. What an amazing mouthfeel this has thanks to the seamless integration of slatey acidity and ripeness. Very […]
Add to cart Producer: JJ PrumCandied, spiced apple and overripe Persian melon dominate the Prum 2011 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese gold capsule, with honeyed impingement both aromatically and on the palate reinforcing the sense of relative opacity and rounded richness that the other Graachers in this year’s collection displayed. Here the sense of delicacy is nearly weightless; intriguing and enticing […]
