An XO tawny port; a blend of shiraz, dolcetto, grenache and pedro ximénez with a base blend that was started in 1947. Deep amber with captivating aromas of dried fruits, Christmas cake, toffee apple, brandy snaps, rancio, mahogany, polished leather and candied citrus rinds. Ditto on the palate, which is impossibly layered, complex and long of finish, with a seam of fresh acidity driving the cornucopia of flavours forward. The fade out is unctuous, sweetly balanced and just gorgeous. 97 Points, Dave Brookes – Halliday Wine Companion

Established in 2012 by Tom White, The Curator Wine Co is located on the western side of the Barossa Valley, within the sub-region of Marananga. The estate comprises eight distinct vineyard blocks, each defined by its own soil profile, contributing to the character and complexity of the fruit.
Tom’s focus is on curating individual wines from each block, exploring the nuances of soil, rootstock and vine age. His philosophy is simple: wines are made in the vineyard. From there, the approach in the winery is deliberately minimal, allowing site expression to take precedence.
Fruit is hand-harvested, wild fermented and basket pressed to French oak, with no fining or filtration. The result is a range of wines that are dark, flavoursome and generous, yet balanced by a natural sense of structure and flow. All wines are vegan-friendly.
