ChaLou Riesling 2023

An awesome riesling, the 18gms of residual ensuring balance and a wider range of flavours. Blood orange, grapefruit, white flowers, cherry, blackcurrant and mint. Some pressings have been used, and it’s a winemaking masterstroke, lending the wine a subtle texture. Pure, translucent and very intense, rippling with energy, verve and character. Lemon sherbert, key lime pie, yellow guava and orange blossom. Delightfully fresh and vibrant with a real undertow of sweetness and succulent acidity. Like the tide receding before a tsunami before a wave of wild citrus, orchard apples and stony, grey slate minerality. There is a peach fuzz like fur of phenolics and a long flavour length.
