Bondar Rose 2025

Now all home Rayner vineyard fruit, with grenache (90%) off vines planted in 1970, with some from ’19 and ’17. The other 10% is an even split of cinsault and mataro, with the latter seeing older oak. This is as good as any rosé from this address, and that’s saying a lot, with the bar set so high. Rose gold leaning into onion skin in appearance, with notes of redcurrant, wild cherry, orange peel, pink grapefruit, watermelon and musk. No confection here. No estery blur – just exceptional fruit and a masterfully refined blend. It’s properly dry, expansive though supremely elegant, long through the palate, slightly chalky, pithy, vibrant. Once again, stunning. 96 points – Marcus Ellis, Halliday Wine Companion

Maison Saint Aix Rose 2024

Drawn from one of Provence’s most celebrated terroirs in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation. The AIX Rosé vineyards of Maison Saint Aix sit at 420m above sea level, with mineral rich soils. A classical Provence blend of grenache, syrah and cinsault grapes. A quality crowd-pleaser, on all the best wine lists in Sydney!

Saint Max Rose Cotes de Provence 2024

73 % Grenache, 22 % Cinsault, 5 % Syrah, . Whole-bunch pressed and given a short skin contact to ensure a pale and bright hue as well as an intense aromatic expression. In order to preserve the natural acidity and freshness of the wine’s aromas, there is no malolactic fermentation. A mouth-watering, strawberry summer hit!

Arras Brut Elite Rose NV

The inaugural release of this wine for House of Arras. A blend of 64/27.4/8.6% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier; 4 years on tirage, dosage 2.5 g/L. Pale rose gold in the glass with a fine bead and energetic mousse. Aromas of red cherry, red apple and grapefruit are joined by hints of soft spice, freshly baked brioche, grilled nuts, mushroom broth, proving yeast and white and purple flowers. Super focused and complex with an array of gentle spice and pastry notes coming into play, slowly fading on a long, savoury finish. Excellent poise and tension throughout with minerally drive galore and a captivating ‘sucking on a river stone’ sapidity and textural ache on the exit. A great first-up release.97 points – Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion

(Cuvée No 1801) Pale salmon-pink with a tinge of purple; the bouquet is beautifully balanced and subtly complex, with dried-herb, dried-mushroom aromas while the palate is superbly full and rich and fluffy-textured, round and yet refined, the finish cleansingly dry and long-lasting. A smashing rosé fizz. 95 points – Huon Hooke, The Real Review

Giant Steps Yarra Valley Rose 2024

Inspired by the wines of Provence, showcasing the perfume and beauty of early-picked Yarra Valley Pinot Noir and Syrah. Strawberry, raspberry and rhubarb, with a dash of cream and middle eastern spice. Excellent acidity, balance and flavour! Norris at Waters Wine Co

Fighting Gully Road Rose 2024

What a trio – Beechworth sangiovese and cabernet and Alpine Valleys aglianico – and the meeting is a seductive, wild red fruit fest for the senses. Dusty, earthy, morello cherries, cracked pepper and almond fragrance. Savoury, floral redcurrant, cherry and almond meal notes guide the palate, showing plenty of crunch and energy along the way. Finishes texturally dry. 93 points – Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion
