“From vines planted in 2019, 2020 and 2021 with high-quality selections of Chardonnay, Dancer’s 2023 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc delivers aromas of pear, white flowers and fresh mint, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive palate with good texture and cut, concluding with a gently aromatic finish.” 90 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
The Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune red and white come from the domaine’s young agroforestry project in Nantoux. Perched at 400 metres above Pommard, Nantoux is a strikingly pretty village known for its pink limestone quarries and hiking trails between vineyards, woods and meadows. The Dancers have planted two hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and interspersed all kinds of local trees on a limestone plateau. Although not the sole reason for investing in the area, it was hoped these vines would alleviate some of the pressure brought on by the domaine’s low yields in recent harvests. The mass-selection cuttings were developed with the help of Lilian Bérillon, the celebrated nurseryman who works with so many great growers. Already delivering quality, it’s clear that the wines from this site will be fascinating to follow over the years ahead.

Stunning aromas of pear, yellow stone fruits, and baked apple. There is heaps of complexity with hints of flint, smokey oak and toasted almonds. The palate is refined and textured; stone fruit and citrus flavours dominate. It is so light and airy with a lovely thread of cool acidity to it.. Flavours last for a […]
Add to cart Producer: Dappled WinesFrom 0.51 ha of vines in 2 separate plots planted 1993 and 1965, one in the steepest stoniest part close to Blagny which contributes excellent acidity and structure, the other part is from lower down where the soil is richer and this part gives greater richness and depth to the wine. This shows wonderful intensity […]
Add to cart Producer: Jean-Louis Chavy2023 is a great vintage across Tasmania covering all varietals. Sourced from vines planted in 1987, the juice is whole bunch pressed into French oak, 10% new, for 9 months. Quite a contemporary style with tangy grapefruit, citrus, white flowers, cream and subtle oak. Lively, and zesty, with unctuous fruit, reductive notes, oak and zingy […]
Add to cart Producer: MeadowbankDiam. Not all Petit Chablis is created equal! Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
