Located in the lieu-dit of En Creuzilly at a height of 420 metres with more clay. A very fresh wine with less ‘fat’ that wants time to show its best. Ample depth covering a very fine structure. Vines in the direction of Nolay, bought in 2014 – 2015 was the first vintage – from an 8 ha domaine shared with Sauzet – about 6 km from domaine, vines on hillsides, over 400m with plenty of clay in this soil. Harvested about a week later than the vines around Chassagne – patience is always needed.
‘Had to replant everything in 2018 so still very young vines. Pale lemon colour, an interesting floral nose, an attractive ripeness followed by a clear-cut citrus acidity. Very good length once again. This has all the energy one associates with PYCM. Drink from 2025-2027.’ (88-89) Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2023.

Citrus, just think citrus. Lime that’s fresh juice, zest and preserved, Tangelo, Ruby Grapefruit, Mandarin blossom, gentle spice and Gardenia. Concentrated and deep, such a threading the needle attack, so precise and linear, then pincering the palate with wave after wave of flavour. Intense, dazzling and vital, with a finish that goes on and on. […]

Quite a contemporary style with tangy grapefruit, citrus, white flowers, cream and subtle oak. Lively, and zesty, with unctuous fruit, reductive notes, oak and zingy […]
Add to cart Producer: Meadowbank“The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes is especially good this year, offering up aromas of citrus oil, lemon curd, pear, white flowers and bread dough framed by a deft touch of youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and suave, with a deep, multidimensional core of fruit, racy acids and chalky structuring extract, it concludes […]

Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
