Aromas of vanilla, spice, discreet wood, frangipani, lemon oil and apricot. Almost full bodied, luscious and concentrated. Very complex. Yellow peach, lime, apricot, spice and subtly peach skin texture. Full of extract, amplitude and very long. The best Bourgogne Blanc we’ve tasted for a long time. Waters Wine Co
Regarded by those in the know as one of the great Bourgogne-level whites, this comes from just over a single hectare spread across five parcels—all in Meursault, and all neighbouring village-level vineyards. These parcels are Sous la Velle, En l’Ormeau, Les Herbeux, Les Lameroses and En la Monatine. The average age of the vines is 20 years. Volumes were reasonably close to normal this year and the wine itself is simply outstanding. Importer’s Notes
The 2017 Bourgogne Chardonnay confirms its fine showing from barrel, wafting from the glass with aromas of white flowers, lemon oil, almond paste, crisp green apple and wet stones. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with excellent concentration and a long, penetrating finish. 89 points, William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Outstanding. Top Value. Here too the nose is super-fresh though with a different aromatic profile of apple, pear and lemon rind. The energetic and well-detailed flavors possess a really lovely texture for a wine of this level, all wrapped in a lingering and saline-inflected finish. This is an excellent Bourgogne. 87-89 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound

Add to cart Producer: Pierre-Yves Colin-MoreyComplex and highly lifted aromas of citrus blossom, Meyer lemon and white nectarine combine with gun smoke and freshly grilled nuts. The palate is soft and full yet refined and complex, driven by fine acidity that flows into a creamy, velvety texture. The finish is round yet precise leaving a sensation that is long and […]
Add to cart Producer: A RoddaThe coolest and highest site, providing the most angular and obviously structured of the chardonnays. Reductive notes of struck match, green apple, white peach , grapefruit, sweetened condensed milk, citrus blossom and white flowers. Cool tasting, spicy and long. A wine of linear shape and great drive. Some chalky minerality on the close adding textural, […]
Add to cart Producer: A RoddaDiam. Not all Petit Chablis is created equal! Moreau’s Petit Chablis comes from a single 2.5-hectare site between Courgis and Beine, just outside Chablis on the route to Auxerre. It has a southwest orientation and lies on Kimmeridgian soils (as opposed to the higher Portlandian soils on which most Petit is grown). Half of the plot […]
