Fighting Gully Road Chianti 2019

When bushfire smoke destroys your 2020 harvest, you call upon friends for help. The 2019 Chianti is produced from wine sourced from a long time friend in Tuscany. Made from Sangiovese, Colorino and Canaiolo and aged in large wooden casks – in nearly every respect the same as our typical Fighting Gully Road Sangiovese is produced. The wine was assembled, ‘tweeked’ and bottled by us in Beechworth. Typically Sangiovese in style, savoury, with a beautiful line of fine and acidity running through the palate.
