    This is also from our estate, naturally farmed on the same duplex soils, with vine age of almost 20 years now. The fruit was processed as whole berries (no pumps used), a natural ferment that wasn’t messed around with too much. It was left on skins for six months then matured in a François Frères 2800L foudre.

    A blend of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, planted in 1998 on the Ravensworth estate, on duplex soils with decomposed granite and red loamy parna clay.     Exotic, expressive and absolutely full of complexity with aromas of spice, lantana and quince, hovering above this is a savoury, earthy dried morel-like scent (I know I’ve had a lot of time to think on this) You’ll note the crunchy phenolics on the pallet and richness from the skin ferment – Bryan Martin, Winemaker

    Hilltops fruit here, off 10- to 25-year-old vines on duplex soils with decomposed granite and red loamy clay. Whole berries were fermented in 1000L oak vats, and then left on skins for six months post-ferment. Maturation was in 2000L Stockinger foudre. Bottled unfiltered.
