A hedonistic Kabinett from a great vintage, without any fat or heaviness. Supremely complex, with blackcurrant, white cherry deep lime, green snake, green mango, raspberry and yellow peach. It’s tough to write in a way because there is so much flavour and complexity, just think of a fruit and you’ll find it. Tangy and tense, the acidity providing a wonderful foil to the sweetness. Rich and sumptuous, almost the weight of a Spatlese, with the brightness and energy that could only be a Kabinett. Absolutely wonderful and a fabulous bargain. Waters Wine Co
