What a terrific followup to the fabulous 2021. Zingy, tangy fleshy. Intense notes of lemon, preserved, fresh and zest. Green apple, grapefruit, jasmine, orange blossom, almond paste, pastry, oak spice and cream. Linear in shape, certainly a contemporary Yarra style, yet with extract and sinew. Reminiscent of the new wave coming out of the Maconnais, the emphasis on brightness and light. Super long carry, and due to that extract and acid, grips the palate for minutes.
