Tri de Chavigne is the result of four successive sortings in the vines at the top of the Le Chavigne parcel. It’s crafted entirely from free run juice and fermented and raised in 35% new oak. This is a wine with the character, length and intensity of a great Chevalier-Montrachet. Magical, pure, stone and citrus fruit shot through with crystalline spice and chalky notes and a long smoky, salty close. Not a molecule out of place. A genuine, alternative to the top-notch white producers from the famous villages of the Côte-d’Or, but without the pricetag.
