Maturation in seasoned oak, new oak and concrete for eight months on full lees; stirred and transferred to stainless for two months on full lees. Yellow pear, lemon curd, narcissus blossom and crushed white chalk. White pear skin, vanilla yoghurt and almond biscotti. Lashings of yellow orchard fruits backed by considered and tapered oak use. The acidity carries and there’s shortbread and pie crust on the finish. Once again, the quality is supreme at the asking price. 93 points – Halliday Wine Companion 2024
